What is Cupid.com/PreDating?
Cupid.com/PreDatingTM parties are based on the incredibly hot, new, exciting way for singles to meet other singles -- speed dating! Rather than wasting time hanging out in a bar or going on uncomfortable blind dates, Cupid.com/PreDatingTM allows singles the ability to meet up to twelve eligible singles with short, 6-minute "PreDates" -- all in one fun evening.
Why Cupid.com/PreDating?
The chemistry between two people occurs within the first few minutes of meeting. With Cupid.com/PreDating you have as many as twelve, 6-minute dates in one evening allowing you to quickly determine who you would truly like to hear from again. PreDating eliminates long and, unfortunately, often boring first dates!
Is 6 minutes really enough time?
Sure it is! It gives you just enough time to know whether or not you want to spend more time with this person. It's enough time to determine whether or not you click. You either select "yes" or "no" on the scorecard and you're on to the next opportunity to find your true love.
What if I don't find "the one"?
If you don't meet that special someone the first time around, by all means come on back. We host many local dating events, which reach literally thousands of singles every week so there are always new people attending these parties. Usually, more than half of the people who attend are doing so for the first time.
What happens after the party?
Your matches will be entered within 24 hours and you will receive an e-mail with a list of the people who are interested in hearing from you again. Then it's up to you to follow up with them directly. It's that simple. You will find out who wants to see you again and then you can follow up with them.
What information will be provided to my "dates"?
After the event, match results will be emailed to each participant with links to those who would like to hear from YOU again. You can choose when to communicate and what personal information you would like to exchange!
How do I RSVP for a party?
In order to attend a party, you must RSVP and pay in advance. There is NO registration at the door. Parties sell out FAST so don't wait to RSVP for a party in your area.
Can I pay by check or money order?
Yes, you may pay by electronic check online.
You may also mail in a check or money order, along with our required registration form,
but we cannot guarantee you a spot at the event until your payment has been received.
It's MUCH simpler to pay by credit card. Paying online by credit card through our secure server is also incredibly safe.

What is provided at the event?
You'll receive a nametag and Match Sheet scorecard. There's usually a cash bar available for you to buy yourself a drink and mingle with other attendees before the event, and afterwards. Sometimes complimentary hors d'oeuvres or snacks are also available.
Can I register at the door?
No. Advanced, online registration is required in order to plan and provide attendees the best possible experience. It is also important to register as early as possible because attendance is limited and the demand is quite high -- parties sell out FAST.
Will the party start promptly?
Check-in begins 20 minutes prior. Arriving late means someone might miss out on a date. Please plan to arrive a little early and allow for traffic.
My age is not within the recommended age group. Can I attend anyway?
We want all participants to be comfortable with the group of attendees they are "dating." Please choose a PreDating party that is within the age range that you wish to date and in which you personally fit.
What do you mean by "single professionals"?
Our speed dating customers tell us they are looking for other singles who are in a trade or business that requires intellect, ethics, and strong character. This could mean highly educated individuals like doctors or lawyers or it could be subjective to mean people who conduct themselves in a professional manner in their lives and are skilled in their careers, independent of education. Cupid.com/PreDating does not discriminate and welcomes all those from various trades and professions.
Any special rules for the event?
In order to create a secure, pleasant and relaxed evening for all attendees, certain subjects are "off limits" at Cupid.com/PreDating events:
- You may not ask for or give out contact information (e.g., last name, phone number, e-mail address, etc.)
- You may not ask anyone for another date.
- You may not ask sexually explicit questions; use vulgar language; or say or do anything that might be interpreted as threatening or as harassment.
